UPDATE!
September
Almost done with new edits, and will be drafting the dreaded query letter!!
After countless edits, rethinks, and maybe a few existential crises, the rewrite is ALMOST done. The story’s bones are stronger, the voice sharper, and the heart—undeniably intact. What started as a rough draft has now evolved into something richer, more refined, and is getting ready to face the world.

The Dollhouse
Alfred collects Dolls. Not the kind found in stores—the kind that breathe. The kind that screams.
Angel and Bud never had a perfect home. Their father is in prison, and their mother barely notices them. Survival has always been up to them. But nothing could have prepared them for what Alfred had planned.
Now, they are Dolls, captives in a place where obedience means survival. Every day is a new game. A new test. A new chance to get it wrong. Recreating old family photos is just the beginning. Alfred’s sense of humor is cruel, and his punishments are deadly.
One second too late, and someone dies. One wrong move, and Alfred makes sure they never move again. -

the twisted ones
When Mouse’s dad asks her to clean out her dead grandmother's house, she says yes. After all, how bad could it be?
Answer: pretty bad. Grandma was a hoarder, and her house is stuffed with useless rubbish. That would be horrific enough, but there’s more—Mouse stumbles across her step-grandfather’s journal, which at first seems to be filled with nonsensical rants…until Mouse encounters some of the terrifying things he described for herself.
Alone in the woods with her dog, Mouse finds herself face to face with a series of impossible terrors—because sometimes the things that go bump in the night are real, and they’re looking for you. And if she doesn’t face them head on, she might not survive to tell the tale. -
Therapy workbook
Another self-published gem from Leo Imprint. This workbook is a profound tool created by a highly qualified team in the therapy/mindfulness world. A must in self-discovery/rediscovery.

Exhibit A by Nik James is a gripping psychological thriller that follows Nicole, a woman who has endured years of trauma and finally loses faith in the justice system. Determined to reclaim her power, she takes matters into her own hands and sets out on a path of retribution.
Her journey leads her to the Criminal Zoo, a symbolic and literal space where she confronts a person who stole innocence and peace. The heart of the story revolves around Exhibit CZ7960, a pivotal encounter that could either break her or become the turning point in her healing.
It’s a raw, emotionally charged narrative about resilience, justice, and transformation, with themes that echo empowerment and the reclaiming of identity.
